Piano & Theory

This is the perfect introduction to music as we use games, physical movement, and melody to help kids understand the rudiments of theory. They will have a chance to play the piano and get a feel for the instrument.

Guitar & Chords

Guitar is the star of this day as we learn about how vibrations create pitch and continue learning basic theory as we stack notes to create chords. Each student will have an opportunity to play a real guitar and learn a little about how they work.

Drums & Rhythm

Day 3 is all about the role rhythm plays in music. We’ll get our hands a few different percussion instruments and even some time on a full drum kit. We will also explore common beat elements that are found in different genres.

Recording & Producing

By far the most unique day of the week is our production day. We will combine the skills from each of the other days to record and produce a song with the students. They will have an opportunity to see how recording works and even play a role in the process.
